Our Worship Location

RCCG, Living Seed Church meets at the City Hall within the Bottesford Town Council premises.

This is a well-known and central location in Bottesford, regularly used for official town events and community gatherings, making it familiar, accessible, and easy to find.

If you’ve attended any local events here before, you already know the place — you’re simply stepping into a space now set apart for worship, the Word, and restoration.

Our services are held inside the City Hall building on the same premises managed by Bottesford Town Council. When you arrive:
  • Enter the main premises
  • Look out for City Hall Signage
  • Our team will be available to warly welcome and guide you
You won’t need to search far; we make it easy.

🚗 By Car The City Hall is centrally located in Bottesford and easily accessible by road. On arrival, enter the Bottesford Town Council premises and follow signage to City Hall. Parking is available on-site or nearby. 🚶 On Foot If you live within Bottesford, the City Hall is within walking distance from most residential areas and close to the town centre. 🗺️ Using Google Maps Simply search for the Bottesford Town Council venue or City Hall, and you’ll be directed straight to the premises. 🔎 Google Maps Search Terms For best results, type any of the following into Google Maps:

One of the biggest questions people ask (especially when life hurts) is this:
“Did God do this to me?”

When sickness, pain, or suffering shows up, it’s easy to assume God is behind it. Some people even say things like “God is teaching me a lesson” or “God allowed this for a reason.” But is that actually what the Bible teaches?

This chapter confronts that question head-on. Through real-life struggle, deep questions, and Scripture, we discover a truth that changes everything: God is not the author of sickness, and the Bible is very clear about who is.

When Questions Go Unanswered, Faith Gets Stuck

Before you can receive anything from God, some questions have to be settled.

As long as your mind is full of unanswered questions, doubt creeps in. And where doubt lives, faith struggles to grow. Faith doesn’t work well in confusion.

This chapter comes from a place of real pain: being sick, bedfast, and facing death as a teenager. Questions like:

  • Why was I born this way?
  • Did God cause this?
  • Is God punishing me?
  • Why me?

These aren’t fake “church questions.” These are real, human questions, and the Bible doesn’t ignore them.

The Lie That Stops Faith Cold

One of the most dangerous lies people believe is this:
“God is the one who made me sick.”

Another version of the same lie sounds more spiritual:
“God didn’t cause it, but He allowed it for a purpose.”

But here’s the truth:
If God caused it (or if He planned it) then believing Him for healing would mean fighting His will. That doesn’t make sense.

God doesn’t heal people from what He intentionally gave them.

What About the Man Born Blind? (John 9 Explained)

Some people point to John 9 and say God made the man blind so He could heal him later. But that’s not what Jesus said.

Jesus didn’t explain why the man was blind—He immediately did the works of God by healing him.

God wasn’t glorified by the blindness.
God was glorified by the healing.

Jesus didn’t blame God.
He fixed the problem.

What About the Man Born Blind? (John 9 Explained)

Everything changed with one verse:

“God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.” — Acts 10:38

Read that again.

  • Jesus went about doing good
  • Healing was called good
  • Sickness was called oppression
  • And the oppressor was clearly named: the devil

That verse answers the question once and for all.

God is the healer
Satan is the oppressor
Jesus is the deliverer

Why This Truth Matters for Young People

If you believe God causes sickness:

  • You’ll struggle to trust Him.
  • You’ll hesitate to pray.
  • You’ll accept pain you should resist

But when you know the truth:

  • Faith rises.
  • Hope returns.
  • Healing becomes possible

Truth doesn’t just inform—it liberates.

Hello, and welcome
I’m Pastor Temitayo Lawrence Oluwayomi, and I’m really glad you’re here.

Living Seed Church, Bottesford (The Restoration Place) was born from a powerful belief that God is still changing and restoring lives.

The Lord declares in Joel 2:25, “I will restore to you the years the locust has eaten,” and this promise is one we believe, hold onto, and build our faith upon as a church.

No matter where you’re coming from, what you’ve faced, or what season you’re in, please hear this clearly: God sees you, He loves you, and you are not beyond restoration. Our heart as a church is to be a safe, Spirit-led space where people can meet God, grow in His Word, and walk out real transformation.

Personally, my calling is to walk with people as God restores their hearts and realigns their lives with His purpose.

If you live in Bottesford, you are warmly invited to worship with us and be part of our church family. There is always room for you here, and we would be honoured to worship together and walk with you on your faith journey.
